Identified rules
The competition page must reference the applicable version. A general page does not replace it.
Official source, responsible decision
FIG documents are retained as versioned sources. The version linked to a competition is the one to consult for applicable conditions.
Document hierarchy
The official FIG rules are the initial reference source. Every published tournament must then point to an approved, dated and administered version. Games, countries, points, prices, dates and conditions remain configurable.
Platform safeguards
The competition page must reference the applicable version. A general page does not replace it.
Disqualification, permanent bans, result changes and refunds require authorisation.
Formats, sizes and retention periods are defined and enforced server-side.
Sensitive actions are attributed, timestamped and retained in an audit log.
Age and required consent are checked against published conditions and applicable law.
A screen never confirms an action the server has not actually recorded.
Unsure during a competition?
FIG Assistance can explain a published rule and create a ticket. It never issues a final sanction, refund or result change on its own.
